Welcome! I am so deeply grateful you are here, and I feel so blessed to connect with you.
For over thirty years, my walk with Christ has been the anchor of my life, a journey filled with incredible grace, unexpected turns, and steady faith. Along the way, God blessed me with two wonderful daughters whom I had the privilege of raising as a single mom, which has been easily the greatest and most humbling joy of my heart. Professionally, I’ve spent my career as a university librarian, a role that allowed me to turn my lifelong love for research and learning into a passion for helping others. That same curiosity led me to pursue degrees in Biblical Archaeology and Linguistics, which opened up a whole new window into the world of Scripture.
I’ve always had a heart that hungers to know God more deeply. I love digging past the surface level of the text, exploring historical context, scriptural interpretation, sacred symbolism, and the quiet beauty of Christian mysticism. There is nothing quite like sitting down with my Bible surrounded by various translations, encyclopedias, Hebrew dictionaries, and concordances, watching the Word of God come alive in rich detail.
When I’m not buried in study tools, you can usually find me creating with my hands. I’m an avid crafter and artist at heart; I love refinishing old furniture, tackling DIY fixes around the house, sewing, and building theatrical sets. Lately, I’ve also been delighting in learning watercolor and calligraphy. To me, working with our hands is a quiet way of reflecting the ultimate Creator who made us!
God has also given me a heart for travel, and I’ve been profoundly blessed to visit the Holy Land several times. Walking where Jesus walked transformed the way I read the Bible forever. If I had one dream that I’m still gathering the courage to pursue, it would be to live abroad in Italy for a season. Until that day comes, I happily spend my time dreaming, watching YouTube travel vlogs, and designing plans for a tiny home somewhere warm in the southern United States.
At the end of the day, I’m just an ordinary woman who loves the Lord deeply and wants to share the joy of His Word with you. My heart’s desire for this space is to gift you with creative, exciting, and accessible ways to study the Bible and draw closer to God.
